Little Explorers Dayhome
Ages: 18 months - 4 years
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Little Explorers Dayhome offers a warm, nurturing, and play-based environment for young children in their early developmental years. Our program blends Reggio Emilia, forest school, and Montessori–inspired practices, creating a balanced approach that supports independence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging.
Children spend significant time outdoors, with many days beginning outside whenever weather permits. Outdoor play and exploration are a core part of our daily rhythm, supporting physical development, emotional regulation, and a natural connection to the environment.

We provide:

- A homemade lunch and two nutritious snacks daily, with a focus on balanced nutrition and seasonal ingredients. - Opportunities for child-led play, exploration, and hands-on learning. - Development of early social, emotional, and self-help skills. - Gentle exposure to early literacy and numeracy through everyday experiences. - Age-appropriate routines, including rest and nap times Our dayhome environment encourages children to move, explore, and learn at their own pace while feeling safe and supported. Educators observe and follow children’s interests, offering invitations to play and learn rather than fixed outcomes. Little Explorers Dayhome is ideal for families seeking a home-like childcare setting that values outdoor time, thoughtful nutrition, and a respectful, developmentally appropriate approach to early learning.
