After-School
program

Introducing the program we all wish we could have joined when we were kids! Our Scandinavian-inspired forest school program focuses on learning outside and having fun in nature. Open to children ages 4-10, this program provides a unique educational experience in the great outdoors.

​Hands-On Nature Learning & Outdoor Skills

  • Fire-building techniques, shelter-making, and knot-tying

  • Snowshoe-making, toboggan crafting, igloo & snow-fort building

  • Wildlife tracking, plant and animal identification, and foraging

  • Nature-inspired arts and crafts using foraged materials

Play & Exploration

  • Unstructured outdoor play to foster creativity and confidence

  • Seasonal adventures, scavenger hunts, and teamwork challenges

Note:

If your child does not attend the bellow-mentioned schools but wishes to participate, please contact us to coordinate drop-off arrangements.

If we have enough interest from your child's school, we are happy to set-up a shuttle service.

 

Students from:

  • Colonel John Stuart Elementary School

   ..can be dropped off at our park location at Cole Harbour Heritage Park.​​​

   ..pickup between 5:00- 5:30​
