Our P.D. Days are all about spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun while learning. Children get the chance to discover, play, and reflect in nature, guided by our supportive educators.

What to expect:
Outdoor Adventures – Held at beautiful local spots like Cole Harbour Heritage Park and Point Pleasant Park.
Hands-On Activities – Shelter building, mud painting, knot-tying, nature crafts, and more.
Play and Discovery – Child-led exploration balanced with gentle guidance.
Circle Time – We start and end the day together, sharing, connecting, and reflecting.
Community and Connection – Every P.D. Day builds confidence, creativity, and a deeper relationship with nature.

What happens if the weather is terrible?
Safety comes first. While we run programs in most kinds of weather, we have a backup plan for dangerous conditions like blizzards, extreme cold, or severe storms. If the forecast looks unsafe, we bring the adventure indoors with fun activities, learning, and play.

What to Bring:
Packed lunch, snacks, and a full water bottle
Weather appropriate outdoor clothing (long sleeves and pants recommended), and extra change of clothes
Hat, sun-screen, bug spray (non-aerosol)
Cold weather days: Balaclava or neck warmer, thick socks, insulating layers, 2 pairs of waterproof mitts and one pair of thin mitts
 
Cancellation Policy:
Full refund up until 2 weeks prior to registered start date (minus $50 administration fee).
No refund after the 2-weeks prior deadline.
Full refund if camp is cancelled due to low registration.
No refund if camp is cancelled or early closure due to extreme weather conditions (Thunder storms, Winds of more than 40KM/hr or gust more than 70KM/h, Temperatures of -20C or below (including -windchill), Temperatures of 35C or above).
